Our content

Grandma's Lantern retells stories from Hindu mythology for children and families. Our stories are adapted for young audiences and are meant for entertainment and general education. They are not religious instruction or scholarly texts, and they may simplify or combine versions of traditional stories. We try to present every tradition with respect and accuracy; if you think we got something wrong, please tell us.

Parents and guardians

The traditional stories we retell belong to everyone. Our specific retellings, scripts, artwork, animation, characters (including Grandma), narration, and the Grandma's Lantern name and logo are owned by Grandma's Lantern or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help create artwork, animation, and narration. Every story is reviewed by a person before it is published.
